Chicken Roast /kerala chicken roastIngredients:
Chilli powder: 1&1/2 teaspoon
Pepper powder:1&1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder:1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala:1 teaspoon
Water : 1/2 cup warm
Oil : 21/2 table spoons
Onions: 2 medium sized finely chopped
Ginger, garlic & green chilli crushed : 11/2
Corriander leaves for garnishing
Salt : as per taste.
Marinate the chicken with chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder ,pepper powder and salt for about 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan add crushed ginger, garlic & green chilly mixture. Sauté it for while until it ‘s raw taste goes off.now add onions sauté till it’s colour turns pink.add little salt in to the onions .Now it’s time to add marinated chicken cook it for a while add warm water cover the chicken and cook it for about 10 minutes in medium flame. Flip the chicken pieces occasionally. Once the chicken is well cooked open the lid and Cook it till all the masalas well coated with the pieces. Garnish with coriander leaves.
You can have this with roti, chapathi, rice and appam..
