SIMPLE BUTTER CHICKEN RECIPE/BUTTER CHICKEN WITHOUT CREAM/TASTY BUTTER CHICKEN RECIPE

Butter chicken is one of my family favorites. Boneless chicken pieces soaked in spiced creamy vegetable gravy .It’s really drooling !!!!!!! just by the imagination  !!.In this recipe i used minimum ingredients which are mostly readily  available at home.Being a calorie conscious one ,most of the time i prepare butter chicken without cream .Here i have used chicken breasts which are protein rich as well as tasty , to prepare this delicious chicken curry.

BUTTER CHICKEN BONELESS/MURGH MAKHANI RECIPE/

Ingredients

Ingredients

Boneless chicken -500 gms
tandoori chicken masala-1&1/2 tbsp
onion -1 large sized
tomato-1
cashew nuts-1/4 cup
curds-1tbsp
ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
chilli powder-2 tsp
garam masala -1/2 tsp
bay leaf-1
cococnut milk-2 tbsp
Butter- 2 tbsp
kasuri methi-1 tsp
salt

cut the chicken in to small pieces

marinate the chicken with curds,tandoori masala,ginger garlic paste and salt.

keep the marination for 10-15 minutes.

saute all the veggies ,bay leaf and cashew nuts by adding 1 tbsp of butter.

add turmeric powder, and chilli powder.

let the masala cool down for sometime.

grind this adding some water and make a thick fine paste.

cook marinated chicken by adding some 1 tbsp of butter

Adjust the consistency of the gravy  by enough water and finally pour some thick coconut milk on the top of this.

Add some kasuri methi or dry fenugreek leaves .Serve hot with some chapati ,rice or naan.

BRINJAL FRY/EGG PLANT FRY/KERALA STYLE BRINJAL FRY/BRINJAL RAVA FRY/EGGPLANT RAVA FRY

Brinjal/eggplant is rich with lots of nutritional benefits.It is good to include eggplant /Brinjal in our diet.
Brinjal fry/eggplant fry is a very simple recipe which can be prepared very quickly within 5 minutes.It is nit at all a time consuming vegeterian recipe.

Here i have shown another variation for this Brinjal/Eggplant fry ,that is Rava fry.Coating with rava on the brinjal slices takes it to an entirely different level.This will give a nice crunchy coating for this eggplant /brinjal.Serve this immediately after fryiing for maintaining the crispiness and taste.

INGREDIENTS

Brinjal./EGGPLANT-1 (500 GMs)
Chilli powder-3 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Rava-3tbsp
Salt
Oil

PROCEDURE

Slice the brinjal in round shape

Prepare masala adding turmeric powder,chilli powder,salt and water.

make thick paste of masala.

coat well on both sides of the brinjal slices.

Pour some oil for shallow frying this brinjal /eggplant slices.

cook this for 3-4 minutes in medium flame.

flip the side and make sure both the sides cooked perfectly.

prick with a fork and if u feel that they are soft,these are ready to serve.

for another variation coat rava on both sides of the eggplants

fry this until we get a crispy outer crust and serve immediately.
